R290 refrigerant gas also called Propane, is a highly pure liquefied petroleum Propane gas globally used as an environmentally friendly refrigerant gas.
It is a hydrocarbon with less harmful fluorocarbon than other alternative refrigerant gases.
It is one of the highly burnable but low GWP gas that has higher efficiency.
In addition, the R290 refrigerant ODP value is 0.
R290 refrigerant is the best functional replacement of them and others CFC and HFC refrigerants alternative.
It is very famous and common as a replacement for typical refrigerants and air condition units such as R-22.

R290 Refrigerant Gas Uses Application:
1.Refrigerators & Freezers - The EPA approved isobutane in 2012 and propane in 2015. Then, in 2018 a change was made that allowed the maximum charge to move up from fifty-seven grams up to one-hundred and fifty grams.
2.Ice Machines - These were approved for use on December 1st, 2016 and have charges eligible up to one-hundred and fifty grams. 3.Industrial Process 3.Refrigeration - Approved in March of 1994 and then changed to June of 2010.
4.Vending Machines - Acceptable as of April of 2015 with a charge limit of one-hundred and fifty grams.
5.Water Coolers - Acceptable as of December 2016 with a charge limit of one-hundred and fifty grams.
6.Retail Food Refrigeration/Freezer - Stand alone equipment acceptable as of December 2011. Maximum charge of fifty-seven grams.
7.Very Low Temperature Refrigeration - Acceptable as of December of 2016 with a charge limit of one-hundred and fifty grams.
8.Residential Light & Commercial Air Conditioners - Approved in August of 2015 with a charge limit of one-hundred and fifty grams.
